Job Title:      Support Worker

Location:         Wrexham (10 minute walk from Town Centre)

Salary details: Up to £8.92 per hour

Overtime pay:  Regular overtime avaialable at an additional £1 p.h. weekdays or £1.50 ph weekends on top of your hourly rate of pay.

Contract Type: Full Time/Permanent

Hours:              35 hours per week 

Shift times:    7.30am - 5.00pm & 4.40pm - 10.00pm includes evenings and weekend working

 Requirements of Support Worker:

  • Basic understanding of autism
  • Be able to work flexible hours and shift patterns
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Basic IT skills

Responsibilities of Support Worker:

  • Accompanying service users to leisure activities and outings
  • Attending to the personal care of service users such as toileting (washing/bathing if required)
  • Administering medication as and when required (full training provided)
  • Supporting service users through times when they are feeling anxious and may result in them displaying risk behaviours
