This will be a very busy and sometimes challenging time and we are looking for a motivated individual who is able to manage crisis situations and able to multi task at any one time.
The individuals we support in addition to having autism can often present with additional mental health, drug or alcohol related difficulties and may have been involved in the criminal justice system.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have good communication and interactive skills due to involvement with families, social services, housing providers and other interlinked agencies. It also requires an individual who is able to write support plans, risk assessments and guidelines.
You will need to have good leadership skills and be able to manage and supervise a number of staff. In order undertake this successfully you must be able to manage your time effectively and be able to evidence good autism practice and implementation.
