Job title: Waking Night Support Worker

Location: Wirral and NW Cheshire      

Salary:

£11.10 p.h. (£11.15 if QCF/NVQ qualified)

Overtime pay:  Regular overtime is avaialable at an additional £1.20 p.h. weekdays or £2.00 p.h. weekends on top of your hourly rate of pay.

Hours: 10 hr shifts, typically 9.45pm to 7.45am, on a rolling rota of 3 nights on and 3 nights off (or occasionally 4 on/4 off)

 What will you be doing as a WakingNight Support Worker:

  • Ensuring that the people we support are safe and supported during their night time
  • Help to maintain good domestic standards within the service (house) undertaking domestic tasks as necessary throughout the night
  • Help with personal care if required
  • Update paperwork, online documents and other administration tasks as needed
  • Administer medication as and when required (full training provided)
  • Support people through times when they are feeling anxious and display risk behaviours
