The successful applicants will be a highly-motivated, resilient individuals with prior experience and understanding of supporting someone with autism and managing challenging behaviours.

Requirements of an Enhanced Support Worker:

• 2 years’ experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
• Experience of supporting people who present with challenging behaviours
• Experience of following person-centred guidelines
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• A comprehensive knowledge of autism
• Be able to work flexible hours and shift patterns
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• Good oral, written & IT communication skills
