Working as part of a core team of staff on a 2:1 basis supporting one individual with complex autism and learning difficulties. Implementing strategies withiin a Postive Behaviour Support (PBS) Framework.

Rota: To include evenings and weekend working

Requirements of an Enhanced Support Worker:

  • 2 years’ experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
  • Experience of supporting people who present with challenging behaviours
  • Experience of following person-centred guidelines
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • A comprehensive knowledge of autism
  • Be able to work flexible hours and shift patterns
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Good oral, written & IT communication skills
