Working as part of a core team of staff on a 2:1 basis supporting one individual with complex autism and learning difficulties. Implementing strategies withiin a Postive Behaviour Support (PBS) Framework.

Requirements of an Enhanced Support Worker:
2 years’ experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
Experience of supporting people who present with challenging behaviours
Experience of following person-centred guidelines
Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
A comprehensive knowledge of autism
Be able to work flexible hours and shift patterns
Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
Good oral, written & IT communication skills
