Working as part of a core team of staff in the evening and early morning on a 2:1 basis supporting one individual with complex autism and learning difficulties. Implementing strategies withiin a Postive Behaviour Support (PBS) Framework.

Job title: Enhanced Waking Night Support Worker

Location: Bromborough, Wirral initially

Salary: £10.96 per hour

Overtime pay:  £12.94 per hour weekdays or at weekends £13.44 per hour.

Rota: 4 nights on/4 nights off between 9:45 p.m and 7:45 a.m.

Active Offer: To work as part of a team providing high-standard, person-centred support to an individual with complex needs during the evenings and night time. The successful applicants will be a highly-motivated, resilient individuals with prior experience and understanding of supporting someone with autism and managing challenging behaviours.

Requirements of a Waking Night Enhanced Support Worker:

  • 2 years’ experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
  • Experience of supporting people who present with challenging behaviours
  • Experience of following person-centred guidelines
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • A comprehensive knowledge of autism
  • Be able to work flexible hours and shift patterns
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Good oral, written & IT communication skills
