Rota: 10 hour night time shifts, generally either 9.30pm to 7.30am or 10pm to 8am

You will be responsible to the Relief Staff Co-ordinator and then Senior Support Workers  

You will be responsible for our Service users

Flexibilty:   You may choose the hours of work and accepts shifts offered at certain locations, however, once accepted you may be required to work at other locations within the organisation to suit our requirements.  

Further Details

A clean current driving licence is desirable and the ability to work flexible hours is essential.  Set days of work cannot be guaranteed.    The advantages of working as relief staff are that you would be eligible to apply for internal vacancies as well as gain valuable work experience in the field of autism.

The annual leave element will be a further 90p for each hour worked.  This will then be paid at the end of each quarter (3 month period) based on the total hours worked in that previous quarter.

Sleep ins, if carries out, are paid at £40.00 per night.  Where earnings average less than the national minimum wage (or Compulsory Living Wage if applicable) a top up payment will be paid in the following month to bring the average earnings to NMW (CLW).

Relief staff have no entitlement to guaranteed or continuous work with the organisation. It is for the organisation to determine whether a relief member of staff shall be called to work and the number of hours worked each day.  Likewise, you are not obliged to accept the offer of hours of work.
